Kahwa

Kahwa pinit

Chilly winter evenings call for the warmth of Kashmiri Kahwa – a wonderfully fragrant tea, infused with flavors of cinnamon, cardamom and saffron. When the kids are in bed, the lights are dimmed and a soft Ghazal plays in the background, the fragrance of the Kahwa reminds me that its time to unwind with a good book!

Kashmiri tea, the main ingredient for Kahwa, is available in the US at Pakistani/ Bangladeshi stores. However, you could replace Kashmiri tea with basic green/ gunpowder tea leaves available online on amazon.
